Quantity

GREEN CAP · YELLOW · NYLON · BOX OF 10 TUBES · 60 SHUTTLES
The full carton — 10 sealed tubes, 60 shuttles. Works out to ₹1,150 per tube instead of ₹1,200, which is the reason clubs, academies and coaching groups buy it this way.

Why green cap is the right one for Mangaluru

Mavis shuttles are speed-matched to temperature, and the cap colour tells you which to buy:

  • Green cap — 22°C to 33°C — correct for Mangaluru and coastal Karnataka almost all year
  • Blue cap — 12°C to 23°C — for cooler indoor halls up north
  • Red cap — 0°C to 13°C — winter conditions

Playing a blue or red cap in Mangaluru heat makes the shuttle fly short and feel dead. Green is the one you want.

Performance

  • 4–5 times more durable than an ordinary nylon shuttle
  • Recovers from a smash in 0.02 seconds — only 0.005 seconds slower than a Yonex feather shuttle
  • Flight time closely matched to feather, so your timing carries over to match play
  • Nylon skirt with a natural cork base for a clean, consistent hit

In stock

• Store in the full-length cover, in a cool dry place — never in a car boot/dashboard or direct sun (heat softens and warps carbon frames).

• Never string above the printed maximum tension — over-tension voids the manufacturer warranty and risks frame collapse.

• Restring every 3–6 months if you play regularly. Rule of thumb: restring as many times per year as you play per week.

• Check grommets at every restring; replace worn or cracked ones — Prime Sports does this during our free stringing service.

• Replace the grip when it loses tack or absorbency; a fresh overgrip protects the handle and your control.

• Avoid racket clashes in doubles and scraping the floor for low shots — the most common cause of cracks.

• Wipe frame and strings with a soft dry cloth after play; never use solvents or chemical cleaners.

• Coastal humidity tip: keep a silica gel pouch in your kit bag during monsoon months.

• Any manufacturing defect? Bring the racket and bill to Prime Sports — manufacturer warranty claims handled by us.
